We recently helped a customer in Lake Wales get the new roof they needed. Their old three-tab shingle roof was damaged by hurricane winds and in need of replacement. We worked with their insurance company to provide the quote for the replacement and help them through the process.
This was a 3,000-square-foot roof with a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty. Check out these before-and-after photos.
BEFORE
By working with insurance, we were able to ensure our customer got the coverage they needed for this roof replacement. The old roof used three-tab shingles, which we replaced with an architectural shingle roof. These shingles are thicker, stronger, and longer lasting, plus they look more dimensional and come in a wider variety of colors than three-tab shingles do.
Specifically, we used Atlas brand architectural shingles in Sunset, a stunning red-brown color. We prefer the Atlas brand for most of our projects because they create quality products, such as their durable shingles that feature algae protection and a lifetime warranty.
We also use Atlas’s Ice & Water Shield underlayment for this project. The underlayment goes under the shingles and provides protection against wind-blown rain, ice, and more. Plus, it features an extra strong fiberglass for better tear resistance.
